Unmasking the Threat: Identifying Fake Facebook Pages in Pi Network Community

Warning About Fake Facebook Pages

We have observed the proliferation of numerous fake Facebook pages posing as Pi Network, posing a significant risk to the community. Despite warnings, these pages continue to attract attention, with some individuals confusing them with the official Pi Network page. This deception puts users at the risk of falling victim to fraudulent activities.

Distinguishing Between Official and Fake Pages

To ensure the safety of community members, it is crucial to distinguish between the official Pi Network Facebook page and the fraudulent ones. The official page boasts a large following and regularly posts about the My b.com app, while fake pages primarily showcase unrelated content and lack substantial engagement as seen on the official platform.

Statistical Data Analysis

Turning to the statistical analysis of the Pi Network project for the first half of January 2024, we will focus on two main aspects: KYC and Mainet movements.

KYC and Mainet Movements

The project has witnessed a notable increase in the number of wallets transitioning to Mainet, demonstrating positive progress despite not meeting the initial January targets. Notably, over 175,000 wallets have shifted to Mainet, indicating the growing engagement and participation of the community.

Wallet Movement to Mainet

With over 250,000 wallets moving to Mainet, the project is making significant strides towards its goals. Particularly, a substantial portion of wallets with varying bi values has migrated, reflecting the community's commitment to the project's vision.
